Short film submission

Last week we had to submit our short film to school.

Although there are still things that need a lot of work and attention, (mainly on the animation side of things), we agreed we’ll be better off handing it in on time over being late.

For the time being we are going to unwind and work on some other stuff, after all the 6 weeks we spent on this project were pretty hectic for both of us.

I do intend to re-visit some of the shots and try to push the animation and the story one step further

If you have any thoughts, feedback, or constructive criticism, please do not hesitate to share it with us. We are interested to hear everything you have to say.

WIP more refined renders

With one week to go before our deadline we had to start wrap things up. Although the animation, the acting and some other technical things are not quite there yet (we only had 5 weeks to work on it), we had to move on to try and finish the project.

Below is a link to the most recent version of the short. In the most recent pass we did, we added some more rendered scenes and two extra shots to complete the sequencing.

As always, comments and feedback are always welcome.

WIP Another sequencing pass

Based on the comments we received from different people I did another sequencing pass to improve the continuity and the flow of the movie.

Once again any thoughts are most welcome.

WIP short film production

It’s been a while since the last time I updated my blog, a lot of exciting things happaned since then.
Our short film production is progressing and coming along slowly, the pressure is building up as there is not long before it’s due.

I would like to take this opportunity and post a work in progress clip of where we are at with the production.

Please bare in mind that the animation in the LAST two shots is still a work in progress and it’s not polished yet.

Please watch it and tell us what you think.

any comments or crits are most welcome.
