After the last linear pass I did on both character, things felt a little bit too busy and too distracting for me. One of the things I have done (apart from asking for feedback from some people - Thanks Aaron!) was referring to the notes I took during the Ed Hooks master class. One of the many things we discussed were what action a character plays before he/ she acts another action and also adrenaline moments.
I added the bit with the book for the granny to justify she was reading before her dismissive reaction to the guy’s effort to impress her with the cake. I also took out the breakdown pose I added last time because I want the viewer to focus on the lady’s reaction once he says “yes”. One of my aims with this exercise is to practice my acting in animation skills, thats why I am trying to create a scenario where both characters have some sort of an adrenaline moment in it.
I started to bloke out some keys for the lip sync but it’s not there yet so feel free to ignore it at this stage.
Ok I better stop rambling now cause this is getting out of hand! As always, feedback and crits are always welcome.
