First Flipbook Experience

A couple of days ago I unlocked my Flipbook copy. It’s something I have been meaning to do for a long time and now I finally did it.

Below is my first exercise I did, it practices timing and spacing. For the purpose of this tutorial I followed one of the Jason Ryan Animation ramp up videos that are available to watch if you sign up for the newsletter.

I strongly recommend everyone to check it out.

pretty good for a first flipbook. The ball has a good feeling of weight on the down hill roll, the uphill could slow out a little more for added realism. on a further attempt it might be fun to work with squash and stretch. the ball should flatten at the bottom of the hill and possibly extend out toward the top. kepp up the good work.

    Hi Avner!
I’m learning animation by myself too and I have a simple question about this video. How you put this frame counter in the video?
I’m doing some animations exercises in 2D too, but I’m drawing the number of the frames one by one in the whole animation (this is really tedious). I need a counter like this too.
If you could tell me how you get this, I’ll have less work. xD
    That’s this.

I’m doing some animation exercises in 2D too and I’m relly need this frames, because I’m writing the numbers in the corner of each frame (very tedious my method). ^^’
Then, I hope you answer this question to help me.
