Hi Avner,

I think Darrel has a good suggestion regarding a more extreme stretch as the sack falls. While I agree with Darrell about this, I don't necessarily agree there is a problem with the tempo as the flour sack backs up. Perhaps there is a better way to put this in your shot, perhaps not, but what you seem to be accomplishing is a variety of rhythms... nice texture. In addition, the fast rhythm seems to add an element of 'eagerness' to the effort. So, its a flour sack with personality. Oh, and maybe the bottom corners to adjust downward slightly when the block drops from under him.

As for the ball sequence... well done. You got rid of the extra frames at the end that had the stripe appearing to swim and migrate around. Too much precise math involved in the original attempt at a slow to a stop. Instead you made it simpler and therefore better.

It will be interesting to see how this renewed sense of clarity shows up in future. Cheers.

Great work Avner, you really inspire someone like me who is pretty new to animation and new to adopting Jason's work flow also! I have 2 things that I think I would change for the flour sack test. The first would only be the timing on when the sack moves back for his big jump. When going through the frames, it looks great I think it just needs to slow down. If I was preparing for a jump I would move back slowly to kind of build up the anticipation. The second would be on the fall, I think the cartoonyness would be better if you stretched the lower half of the sack down first and then its gone... I don't know, just something I thought would add to your animation.
