The Exploration Begins
Wow! Three posts in four days, I must be on a roll!
Last night I got started with my quadruped explorations. I looked at a fair bit of reference during the day and shortlisted the sequences of a gallop and a light run to start up with. I am fairly content with the initial result as this is the first time I actually flipbooked a quadruped.
The light run definitely needs more attention and work on the ups and down, as well as the back limbs and the neck and head but overall I am relatively happy with the result of this first test. Stay tuned there are more to come.
On a side note, I am excited to share with the world the news I decided to enroll into my first life drawing class, I can’t wait.

I’m aufull. don’t give compliments to anybody.
the galop is good, good start.. the ryth and so. there are at list three diferent type of rythm. AND IN EACH THE LEG POSITION IS DEFERENT AND——————- the back of the horse? it’s not as horizontal
the shape change during the galop.
that’s why it’s not as easy to be on their back.

Well your progressing nicely, one tip. When animals move they tend to countermove that move in the neck especially teh more energetically they move. This so to keep the eyes level so head tends to bob up and down to counter the up down movement of the run.
