Back at AM for class 2

A couple of weeks ago, I started class 2 at AM after I was on leave of absence for the past three months. Being back is absolutely fabulous, and very rewarding. I missed having direct contact with so many great animators and friends.

This term my mentor is Jason Martinsen, a brilliant animator who worked on films such as Ice Age 2 and 3, Horton Hears a Who and Planet 51 amongst a few others.

Over the past two Sunday nights I had some spare time to dedicate to the Heads Up animation test so I did. At the moment only the first 250 frame are in spline as I am slowly making my way through the shot.

That’s pretty much it for now, I am looking forward to this term, it feels like it’s going to be really great.
