Lovely Accent – Shot Surgery
I wasn’t happy with the attitude on the girl so I went in a did a shot surgery on her performance. I removed the keys I had on her and started fresh with a less is more kind of approach.
The main idea I want to sell here is that she is cold and doesn’t have time for over-friendly waiters who try to chat her up. This way, the contrast between the two performances is clearer.
What do you think? Does it work? Can it be improved?
On this pass I didn’t do any work on the waiter.

This is coming out sweeet! I’m loving the guy, he is working really well. As far as the girl I still think she could use more variety, what are you planning on doing w/ her right cigarette hand? Maybe haver her ash it out at the beginning when he pours the wine, so that they both recognize each other and then she turns around sort of like ok thats enough interaction and goes back to her book. (Just an idea) Also maybe on your last cut around frm 343, maybe have her looking at him with the same pose just her eyes pointing towards him, w/ a look of disbelief that this guy is such an idiot and just hold her there and have a sort of “poor guy, what an idiot” face as she transitions into her final line of complete annoyance.

Hey Avner, cool decision I think to try to reduce the girl.
Though I think you can find an inbetween, here you have reduced her too much, i think. Middle way between older version and this one could be a good balance.
