As some of you may know I went back to Animation Mentor after a much needed break to attend the last class, Polishing and Demo Reel. Usually in the last class we work on finessing and cleaning the shots we worked on during the program in order to have a solid reel at the end of class 6. However since my mentor thought my old shots were in good shape, he encouraged me to start working on a new acting test.
Even though it was quite challenging to choose a new line to animate (there are way too many good ones out there!!!), I ended up setting my eyes and ears on a famous clip from the “Odd Couple” with Jack Lemmon and Walter Matthau.
One of the biggest challenges for me here was to give the line a new interpretation and layer my own spin on it.
Not Here – rough blocking
