Hi, my name is Avner. I was born in Israel in 1981. Art was always something I was intrigued by as a kid. Fortunately enough, my mum exposed me to the different mediums in art such as painting, drawing, sculpturing.
Four years ago I moved to Melbourne, Australia to do a Bachelor of Multimedia at RMIT, Melbourne. During the first year of the course we learnt about the diverse disciplines in multimedia. To name a few, some of the courses I took were Visual Design, Sound, Web-Design, 2D Animation and 3D Animation (in Lightwave).
Over the second year of the course I specialised in animation, considering I found the world of animation the most enticing and challenging. I decided to jump in the water with out any former experience and delve into the mysterious world of animation.
Although I am a Multimedia graduate, I feel as though my skills can always be developed to a higher level. My approach towards animation is like sports, you can’t be the best unless you practice, practice, practice. I decided to start this blog, in order to document my experiments and journey of becoming something I have always dreamed of. It’s not about how good you are, it’s about how good you want to be!
Other than animation I am a film junkie and always enjoy a night in with a classic movie. I love cartoons and caricatures, travelling and above all cooking (and eating!!!).
